This fully realized Kenworth truck made of bronze and 2500 board feet of ash hardwood was built to pay tribute to the “cowboys of the twentieth century”, the long haul truck drivers. One side of the truck is cut away to reveal the life of the driver who makes this space his or her home while on the road. This piece is part of the series that includes “Blue Plate Special” and “Broke down on the Road to Cheyenne”. In each piece there is the inference of the personage without the actual presence.
